Enjoy an evening of Italian Opera at Grace Episcopal Church in Providence with singers from the Academy of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and your Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra. This concert is the concluding program of Splendor of Florence, a festival celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Friendship Pact between Florence, Italy and Providence. The concert will feature many of opera’s greatest hits by Verdi, Puccini, Rossini and more, performed by AMMF Fellows Caterina Meldolesi, Letizia Bertoldi and Paolo Nevi. The RI Philharmonic is grateful to be able to present this concert for free as part of our 80th Anniversary celebrations, thanks to a grant from Rhode Island Commerce and many additional supporters and partners.
